✦ Working tools, built for the trades ✦

Tools for people who do the work.

Pay cheques, permits, inspections, safety training, and the first week as a foreman. We build working tools for tradespeople, supervisors, and the people who train them. Built on job sites in Ontario by a Master Electrician.

The lineup

One crew. Every tool earns its spot.

Each one solves a problem that showed up on a real site. Pick the one that fits your trade, your crew, or your training hall.

Stubby

Pay stub & overtime calculator

Know what your cheque should say before it lands. Pick your agreement or your rate, log your hours, and Stubby does the overtime, dues, deductions, and take-home. Union or non-union. Works offline, and your pay data never leaves your phone.

Foreman Guidance

The first weeks as the one who's liable

Yesterday you swung the tools. Today the crew, the safety law, and the paperwork are yours. Situation-by-situation guidance for new construction foremen: crew leadership, OHSA obligations, permits, inspections, and the records that protect you. Offline. English and Québec French.

Pilot GreenTagIt badge

GreenTagIt

Scan a tag, run the checklist

An offline-first inspection log for one building: extinguishers, emergency lighting, lifts, and gear. Scan the QR, pass or raise a defect, and a before-and-after damage timeline builds the record that holds up in an audit. Every phone keeps its own copy and syncs when it can.

LMS-ready

WHMIS Interactive

Safety training that drops into any LMS

A SCORM WHMIS course built for people who learn with their hands. Pictograms you can actually read, site scenarios instead of slides, and scored checks that prove the learning happened. Upload it to the LMS you already have.

Vendor Hunt

Turn a vendor hall into a game

Guests check in with a QR. Reps confirm a real conversation and rate the lead hot, warm, or cold. A live leaderboard runs the floor, a prize draw closes the day, and every booth walks out with its own lead list. No internet required.

Stage

CuePilot + Prompter Studio

Build the talk. Run it on rails.

Prompter Studio turns a script and slides into a timed, rehearsed project. CuePilot listens while you speak on stage, scrolls the script, advances the deck, and watches your pace. Offline, private, and the clicker always wins.

Site Supervisor Platform

Foreman Guidance, grown up

Permits and inspections with server-side timestamps that stand up in a hearing. Crew training records, a hazard database, and the regulatory reference in your pocket. Built with a union local first, then for every signatory contractor.

More in the toolbox

Every tool here started as a problem on a site. If you've got one, we want to hear it.

Looking for the keynotes?

The talks live at bradgard.ca.

TradeCraft Apps is the tool shop. The speaking side, keynotes for training conferences, union halls, contractor associations, and safety days, has its own home at bradgard.ca, with one-sheets for every talk and a booking form.

CuePilot and Prompter Studio were built to run those talks, which is the only reason they're in the lineup above.

On the tools since age 14

Brad Gard is a Master Electrician out of London, Ontario, with more than four decades in the trade. Apprentice, journeyperson, foreperson, business owner, project manager, safety leader, and now Training Director at IBEW Local 120. In 2026 NETCO handed him its national Leadership Excellence Award.

Somewhere along the way the same problems kept showing up. A new foreman with nobody to ask. A pay stub nobody could check. An inspection log in a binder that was never where you needed it. A WHMIS course that put a room full of tradespeople to sleep. So he started building the tools he wished he'd had.

That's TradeCraft Apps. Tools built by someone who's still got the scars.
